CDM AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY PROJECTS- Industry and Agriculture -
In India economic growth has resulted in higher demand for electricity which is growing at a rate of 9%. With an installed capacity amounting 96 GW of which 73% are generated from fossil fuels the country is facing environment problems and is creating a constantly growing supply gap. In parallel of this growing demand and due to the poor financial state of state electricity boards, private investors are being sought to help with the huge investments that will be required in the near future.
